Originally founded as the Forensic Science Society in 1959, some 60 years later The CSFS now boasts a worldwide membership and is the main Professional Body for individuals working as forensic practitioners in the UK and is considered to be the ‘international voice of forensic science’.

Starting in 2017, Romania has committed to spend at least 2.0% of GDP annually on defence through 2027. In 2022 the defence budget was increased to 2.5% of GDP.
