foster+freeman install VSC8000/HS in Papa New Guinea Laboratory
Papa New Guinea has become the first country in the Pacific Region to purchase and install the state-of-the-art VSC8000/HS workstation.
The machine was acquired by the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary Forensic Document Examination Section with government support.
Hodges Ette, Assistant Commissioner of Police Crimes, stated that the capability of the new VSC8000/HS has given a boost to the Forensic Document Examination Unit.
Applications Specialist, Estefania Gomez, joined the Forensic team in Gordon, Port Moresby, to assist with the install and provide training on how to make the most of the impressive capabilities of the VSC8000/HS.
Once the unit is fully commissioned it will be used to strengthen law enforcement, domestic government production institutions, and related crime.
